Yama LoSo

Overall: 9.6

This sushi spot is the cutest! I was expecting something more like Yamazaru, but it was much nicer and more elegant inside than that. The dining area is huge and they have a decent sized patio as well! We came to celebrate a birthday and they brought a celebratory dessert. Overall, the staff was so kind. We had a small issue with one of our rolls and they even took that off the bill!

Goated Gyoza

I will go to bed dreaming about this gyoza. It was steamed to perfection and then pan-fried on the bottom to give it a nice crispy crunch. The rest of the group tried the spicy crispy rice and loved those as well (shown to the right). Both of these starters were pretty reasonably priced as too! The gyoza was $9 and the spicy crispy rice was $16. Perfect to share between 2-3 people!

Solid Rolls

Fabulous rolls! I really don’t think you can go wrong with ordering any of their rolls. I ordered the spider roll, tempura soft shell crab, avocado, cucumber, masago, topped with spicy aioli and eel sauce ($15). Super filling and plenty of sauce! The Sora, H&M, and LoSo rolls were also well loved amongst the table!
