Similar to O-ku, Kid Cashew has locations in Charleston and Charlotte. I dined at the location in Mount Pleasant in the shopping center on the way out to Sullivan’s. Cute little Mediterranean spot, with clean and green decor.
Small Portions
The appetizers here are pretty good. We got the tzatziki (see the bottom of the page) and the brussel sprouts. The sprouts were fine but not great, and the hummus was yummy but a pretty small portion. The tzatziki is $7 and the brussels are $9.
Heavy Pours
Wine starts at $8 a glass and they have multiple size options. They definitely give you a healthy pour so you are getting your money’s worth. I think I would enjoy this place more for a happy hour and light bites than for a full dinner.
Juicy Chicken
I had the chicken skewers ($10) and the sauce drizzled all over them was fabulous. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but it isn’t a bad option.
