O-ku is one of the ‘nicer’ sushi places in Charleston. They actually also have a location in Charlotte. The best bet with O-ku in my opinion is to hit it for happy hour. Which is on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm.
Date Night
They have a wide assortment of cocktails and great mood lighting, making this the perfect spot for a date night. My friend and I split the Dumpling Dim Sum with sweet chili sauce which has superb flavor. This is around $15.
Sushi
I ordered the rainbow roll for dinner and it did not disappoint. The ingredients taste fresh and was a plenty filling portion. Our server was efficient and polite, tying up the experience to be very pleasant.
