Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar is a little seafood bar located on East Bay across from Carmella’s. We were seated in one of the first booths by the front so it was perfect for people watching. Starting with oysters is a necessity.
Oyster Shooter
We tried their award winning oyster shooter. I describe this as ‘slap yo momma’ good. During happy hour it is only $5 too! The shooter is a must have if you are going to dine here. I also ordered the frozen peach Bellini that was quite refreshing. The Bellini was around $10.
Classic + Beachy
I love the seashell chandelier and the classic dark wood they have throughout the bar. It is bright and clean. The staff gave us great recommendations of their favorites. Overall this place has great vibes.
Fresh
As an appetizer we split the shrimp corndogs (see below). They sound kind os silly but were really wonderful and not super greasy. These are $14. I dined with my mom and she ordered the New Bedford Sea Scallops ($36). She loved them! Everything was very fresh and our food arrived very quickly!
