Dom’s Dive Bar opened in the spring of 2025. The cozy neighborhood bar is located in the shopping center on South Boulevard that is home to Goldie’s as well. It’s named after the owners grandfather who was an Italian immigrant that served in the Navy during WWII.
So-So Bar Food
I was incentivized to try Dom’s because it is on the list of restaurants that is included on Offline’s membership. Basically, I would have $15 to spend for free! I have eaten here twice because since it opened, and while everything was good it did not blow me away. The mac and cheese was the best dish I have had here. The Italian sub and wrap are also pretty good. I would skip the brisket quesadilla, it was oily and a little boring.
A True Dive
They host a dart night every Monday, Quiplash trivia every Wednesday, and billiard tournaments every Thursday. It is a new frills bar with vintage and eclectic decor. This bar is also the designed Liverpool bar and is one of the few places in CLT that will always have Premier League games on.
A Bar for Drinks
Dom’s has great deals on drinks, that rotate throughout the week (even Saturdays)! I could easily marinate here throughout the day and if I am following some of the drink deals end up with a bill that is under $40! I love love love a place that offers a cheap beer.
